Disney Trip October 2010

Hi All, Here are some pictures of Evey and our trip to Disney in early October. There is a picture of her watching some Tinkerbell on our flight to FL. We stayed in the Bay Lake Tower, near the Contemporary, with Grandpa Fitz, Grandma Kay, Aunty Kelly, Aunty Heather and Uncle Tony. The first night we had a birthday dinner for Autny Kelly, see picts. The next day we went to the Magic Kingdom. She really liked Dumbo and the Carousel. She also watched all of the 4-D Philharmagic show, she didn't like the spray of water in the face, but she liked the rest of the show and wore the 3-D glasses the whole time. She also really liked Minnie Mouse's house. She liked sitting in all the furniture and seeing all of Minnie's stuff. She also got to watch a show in front of the castle with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and many other characters. She got to see many things in the magic Kingdom and had a blast. When we got back she got to play in the pool area of the hotel. She really liked the sprinkler area, where the water came out of the ground. She liked playing in that every day :) No napping, but then she slept through the loud fireworks :) The next day we went to Disney Downtown and Evey got a Tinkerbell Tea Set. She played with it with Aunty Heather and Aunty Kelly. We also went to the Raglan Road Restaurant for lunch, there is a group photo. Again, no nap, but again slept really well at night. The next day we went to the Animal Kingdom and Evey really liked the safari ride, mainly because of the bumpy jeep ride :) She did take a nap in her stroller why we were there, probably due to no nap during the last 4 days. :) At the Animal Kingdom she got to meat Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. She really likes the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show, so she knows who they all are. She was a little star struck with Mickey and Minnie. She copied what they did but she was really cute. She even did 'nosy-nosy' with Minnie Mouse. She was also wearing a Minnie Mouse shirt that Grandma Kay got her and she kept pointing to Minnie and then pointing to the Minnie on her shirt, very cute. She was a 'little' more relaxed with Goofy, he was funny. She also copied him as well. That night we ate at the Floridian, very nice. The next day we drove to Aunty Heather and Uncle Tony's house with Aunty Kelly too, to spend a few days at their house. We went to the Atlantic Ocean, a first for Evey. She mostly liked to play in the big bucket with water in it and cover Daddy and Aunty Kelly with some water. But she did collect a few shells to. We all had a great time, especially Evey. :)

Mid-July to Labor Day, Yay !!!

Hi All,
Here are some pictures and movies of Evey from mid-July up to Labor Day. There are some of her just in the house. There is one with her wearing working gloves too, she likes trying on Mommy and Daddy clothes, especially gloves and shoes.

We also have pictures of when Aunty Kelly, who Evey calls Aunty Daddy, was here. We went to the play park and to the Museum to see the Archaeopteryx and butterflies. Evey was very sad to see Aunty Kelly go and still requests her on the laptop. She'll point to the laptop and say 'Aunty Kelly ! '

I put up a picture I thought was funny. Its a picture of Evey and her Daddy wearing the same color shirt and pants. We didn't even coordinate it, so I took a picture. :) And there are some pictures of her with her Minnie Mouse. She loves the show, The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and she loves her giant Minnie. Thanks Grandma Kay ! She likes to put Minnie on the ground and say 'night night' and pat her on the back and say 'back rub'. And sometimes she just likes to give Minnie a big hug. :)

We also have pictures of Uncle Tony's visit over Labor Day weekend. We went to the play park again and to the Museum. We saw the Secrets of the Silk Road Exhibit, which had European Mummies (naturally mummified) in a desert in Western China, but we weren't allowed to take pictures in there, so sorry. Evey didn't mind the Mummies, there were only two and she didn't see them as anything scary or upsetting. We also saw the butterflies and bees while we where there, there are some picts of that. She was also very sad when Uncle Tony was leaving, when we told her to say 'bye bye' she kept saying 'no no no', she didn't want Uncle Tony to go 'bye bye'.

I put up some videos of Aunty Kelly and Uncle Tony's visits. I also put a video up of her hugging a big stuffed animal puppy that makes noises that she really likes. He's really good for hugging too, as you'll see. Thanks Steve from work ! I also put a video up of her doing one of her wooden puzzles and a video of her playing Daddy's game called DJ Hero. Its a video game that plays music and you have to hit buttons and move the record to mix beats. I'm sure you can ask John about it if you're interested, but Evey thought it was fun. I also put up a video of her cleaning the house, its kind of long, but I appreciate her help ;)

June 16 to July 11, 2010. YAY !!!

Hi All, I made an update that was less than 4 months since the last one :) Ha ! Here are a few pictures and videos of Evey from June 15 up to July 11, 2010. We went to the Houston Museum of Natural History today. There is a picture of Evey with some dinosaur bones. And there is a picture of Daddy, Evey and the Corpse flower, which is very rare in the US. There is also a picture of Mommy, Evey and the Corpse flower. It was at the front of the butterfly exhibit, which is what we mainly went to go see. When the corpse flower blooms its smells like corpses hence its name. We did not see it bloom, though it is suppose to bloom really soon. There's a picture of Mommy playing with Evey's hair during an episode of Micke Mouse Clubhouse. She liked her hair played with so we did that for a while. There is a picture of her playing with her magnadoodle, probably h er favorite toy right now. There are some pictures of her at the JSC visitor center. We jsut went there after work one day since it had AC and we could go there for free. And the Hall of historical memoribilia didn't have very many people in it so she ran around for a while. One of the pictures is of her touching a moon rock with Daddy. Another is of us with cut outs from the cartoon 'The Clone Wars' which is visiting the JSC Center.
And there are a few pictures on Father's Day. We had quite a few friends over, who also had little tikes. We went in the pool, had a bbq and had some cake. There is a picture of a cake because it was soooo good. It was made by a local backery, lemon pudding cake with raspberry filling and lemon icing, it was fantastic. mmmmoist. The last picture is of Evey on the 4th of July with 'Glowing Saint' Aunty Hannah's sun glasses on,
Wyatt is the little cutie next to her.
There is a video of her trying to put on her socks. There is a video of her rolling a die and there is a video of her watching Mickey Mouse club with Mommy playing with hair.
