T-3 Weeks, Are we there yet ?

Here we are at 37 weeks. Only 3 weeks to go, if she's on time, yay! Its warm today so the capris are back on and though shirts (even the prego shirts) are starting not to fit, I gotta wear something. The bouncer is all put together and ready for the baby, as seen in the picture. Doctor appointments are now every week and so far everything is still going fine. The book says she should be about 6.5 lbs, 14 in from head to bum and 21 in from head to feet.

John put together the Pac n Play, which has a bassinet and changing table. We're going to use that in our room until she sleeps through the night, then she'll move into her own room.

T-5 weeks, Getting Closer

Here is mom and baby at 35 weeks and 1 day. Baby should be about 5.5 lbs and a little over 19 inches from head to toe and she'll be adding about a half a pound a week, so we hope she doesn't stay too long past her due date. She'll just be working on maturing her organs to get ready for the big wide world now. Mom and Dad are excited that she's almost hear, we can't wait to meet her. She's pretty active now so we're guessing there won't be a lot of sleep going on when she's here, but we're looking forward to hearing what she has to say ; )

Almost there, T - 8 weeks and counting

Hi everyone. Sorry its been awhile since the last post, work's been silly busy. But here's a pict of mom at 32 weeks and 4 days. So, just a little under 8 weeks to go. Though, the average on a person's first baby is a week late, so 'they' say.

The baby is still doing fine, kicking and everything. The doc can tell that she's upside down now. She should stay that way for the rest of her stay.

Dad's been reading to her at night before bed, which she seems to enjoy.
