Late March Trips

Hi All,

Here are some pictures of some trips we did with Evey when Grandma Tanya was visiting. We went to the butterfly exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. She liked pointing at all the butterflies. We arrived when the place opened so many of the butterflies were just waking up. Which was neat, since they were standing still and were easy for her to point to. I also put up a video of her in the butterfly exhibit. There is also a video of her at the Japanese gardens, near the museum, and a movie of her riding on her Daddy's shoulders on the way to the garden.

She is very good at running now, so we investedin a bear with a leash. She got away from me in the store and scared me half to death, so we got her the bear with a leash. She really likes wearing it because she likes carrying her baby around. She gets really excited when we take it out for her to wear. So everyone wins ;) I put up a picture of her running in the park down the street. She loves going outside and walking/running around.

We also went to the Houston Zoo. There are pictures of her at the zoo. They had a petting zoo in the children's area and she just loved it, even though this was mostly goats. There is a video of her at the petting zoo.

And there is a picture of us at the Aquarium restaurant, which we really like since Evey will watch the fish while we eat. :D She can eat nearly every thing we can, just cut up into small bites. She likes most rice and noodle dishes. She isn't a fan of vegetables or fruit, so I have to cut them small and sneak them into the rice and noodle dishes :)

This post catches us up for the most part. She really likes running and she can say a few words, and knows a lot more than she can say. She can read several words from her word cards, though she now prefers the word DVDs which have some songs.

Hope you enjoy the photos, we enjoyed taking them :D
